PC Capital announced its most recent investment in the Mexican company Medios Cattri, S.A. de C.V. (“Cattri”), one of the leaders in digital advertising in Mexico, who in turn acquired a majority stake in AdSpace Networks, Inc. (“Lightbox”), the leading digital advertising company in shopping malls in the United States. The transaction was also financed with the support of Altum Capital, a private credit fund based in Mexico City.
The investment has consolidated two large companies in Digital Out of Home advertising in the United States and Mexico, creating a network of more than 5,700 screens in strategic locations in the two countries, and an advertising ecosystem with a monthly reach of more than 108 million people, while at the same time positioning Cattri to enter the US market through Lightbox’s digital dominance in shopping malls across the United States.
Since the investment materialized, Cattri and Lightbox have achieved operational synergies and created new strategic alliances with renowned companies such as We Work, reaching an agreement on November 18 to exclusively commercialize more than 5,000 screens in the different We Work locations throughout the United States.
